KS2 Football Tournament

This afternoon, a group of 15 Key Stage 2 children, their relatives, Nick Denny (coach) and a selection of rowdy staff members went to Leiston High School to take part in a football tournament.  They were split into two 5-a-side teams with subs, making sure everyone had a turn on the pitch.

Each team played 4 games but, despite some excellent runs for goal and some outstanding goalkeeping, we did not score.

Coach, staff and relatives were incredibly proud of all the children.  They behaved impeccably, in true Kelsale style, and showed  fabulous team spirit.  

The same cannot be said for the cheerleaders, who cheered, shouted and shook their pom poms vigorously throughout.

Well done to both teams.  You did yourselves and us proud!
