Year 6 Sailing

A huge thank you to the staff at Aldeburgh Yacht Club who have given the Year 6s four excellent afternoons of sailing under the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The children thoroughly enjoyed their time on the water in the boats, have learnt so many new skills and conquered some fears! As they did so well, all children achieved their Stage 1 and have brought home their certificate today. Please see the 4 weeks worth of photos below.

Netball Tournament 2022 @ AVA

Well done to these 8 children from Year 6 who participated in the Netball tournament at Alde Valley Academy this afternoon. They played brilliantly and showed such good collaboration and perseverance against Snape and Coldfair Green. Kelsale lost 2-1 to Coldfair Team 1 and Snape and then draw 1-1 against Coldfair Team 2. Therefore, Kelsale came fourth but this does not deter from their superb skills, which improved as the games went on. Thank you to Mrs Mayhew for hosting!
