On Wednesday 21st March, a very excited bus full of KS2 children and adult helpers made their way to The Natural History Museum in London. We set off nice and early with bags full of sandwiches ready for a fun filled day. The bus journey was very hot and quite long, but the children kept themselves amused by drawing, singing and playing games. As we entered London, our lovely coach driver took us on a tour of the sights: Big Ben, The London Eye, House of Parliament.
We arrived just in time for lunch. We then split into groups and made a dash to all the wonderful exhibits. We were terrified by the moving T-rex, shaken by the earthquake simulator and astounded by the life size model of the blue whale.
Mrs Taylor was stopped on a number of occasions by members of the public, commenting on how well behaved the children were. All in all, a fabulous day out and a group of very proud adults who felt incredibly lucky to spend time with such a polite and fun loving group of pupils.
You all look like you are having a great time in the photo. Now I want to go to London again!
