Sports Week 2013- Day 3- Athletics afternoon

In order to win the team cup, all 4 colour teams, red, blue, green and yellow, need to compete in a range of activities.  These include swimming, sports day races and, today's event, Athletics afternoon.  The afternoon's activities were organised by Mrs Ward.  The school was divided up into 8 teams and a rotation of activities were undertaken.  Each team was lead by an adult team leader.

Each group showed tremendous team spirit, perseverance and a great deal of competitiveness, and that was just from the staff members!  Despite the enormous amount of hard work that went into organising, leading and guiding the afternoon to a very successful conclusion, all children had enormous fun and should all sleep well tonight.
All points will be tallied and final results revealed at Sports day afternoon in July.
