Jimmy's Farm Year 2 & 3

Today, Earth and Mars classes had a superb day at Jimmy's Farm! The sun shone and the children's smiles sparkled all day! The children were lucky enough to have a Minibeast workshop where they got to hold animals such as Giant African land snails, cockroaches and snails. A great way to end the half-term :)

Mental Health Week: Wear Green

This week was Mental Health Awareness Week and, as a school, we are very passionate about mental health and well-being. This year's theme for mental health awareness week was 'Movement'. We all know that moving more is so beneficial for us, not just physically but mentally. This is why we enjoy our daily Wake 'n' Shake as well as running the Daily Mile.

Therefore, today, you were all invited to join us with our morning Wake 'n' Shake on the school playground and it was a fantastic turn out! Thank you to everyone who stayed and joined in. This afternoon, the whole school 'Ran to Paris' together in their Daily Mile as we turned the school green to raise awareness of mental health.

Enjoy the photos! Can you spot yourself?

Trinity Park Trip

Our Year 3 and 4 children had a superb day at the Country Farm Fair held at Trinity Park today! They were able to touch and stroke many of the animals as well as watch the farriers and sheep dogs at work. The food tent was also a big hit as the children could see sausages being produced and sample some of the fruit and crisps. The photos show how much the children enjoyed the day. Thank you to Laura for being our steward to ensure that we got to see so much of the exhibition!
