Snow Day!

Staff and families have been very 'busy' on the snow day today.  We are in the middle of a very intense snowman competition and we thought we would share our efforts.

Snowy Day 2018

We saw the snow falling through the classroom windows and decided we needed to explore.  For those with suitable clothing, it was off to the field for snowman building and footprint trails.

A visit from Mr Sually

We were lucky enough to have another visit from Mr Sually, in school today.  He conducted an assembly for the whole school and spent time in both classes 5 and 6.  He supported the children in taking part in mock Sikh weddings, which they enjoyed hugely, and chatted with the children and answered their questions.

A very enjoyable day.  A huge thank you to Mr Sually for his time.

Christingle Service 2017

On Monday, the children prepared their Christingles ready for the service today, discussing the symbolism behind the different elements.  Today, Miss Coppens-Browne led the service, which was so stunning and peaceful as the children sat quietly in candle light. 

Also in the mix, some photos of the heron we saw strutting around the school field this morning.  A tough subject for the photos Mrs Gill, but you caught it!
