Lucy and Natasha are at it again. Our Veggie weeks are becoming more and more popular as children make a dash for the new foods to try. What a fantastic way to promote the eating of Veggies. Well done ladies. Sweetcorn week was a hit!

Even more veggie Power
Lucy and Natasha have been busy again. Some of the photos below are from Pea week, but they kicked off sweetcorn week with baby corn and sweetcorn frittata.
The children loved the ideas and were only too happy to try the recipes and collect their new stickers.
Well done ladies.

Veggie Power
Lucy and Natasha have been so, so busy in the kitchen recently. We've experienced carrot and pea weeks so far where both ladies have been cooking up new recipes, creating competitions, games and tasting sessions with some most amazing veggie food. They have decorated the dining hall and created some brand new characters to entice the children into trying new things and with incredible success.
Over the next few weeks, the ladies will continue to work hard with veggies and I will start to post some of their efforts and the delight in the children's faces as they try new things.
Next week is sweetcorn week, so any fun facts or recipes are gratefully received.
We are lucky as Lucy and Natasha are amazing.

World Book Day 2020
What a fantastic day with some absolutely superb costumes! Well done to all of the effort that was put in to the outstanding outfits for World Book Day today. The children (and some of the adults) have thoroughly enjoyed dressing up! Thank you to those who also donated to our Library fund - this is greatly appreciated.
Please enjoy the photos of the children's amazing characters...

Basketball Competition 2020
A HUGE well done and congratulations to our fantastic 20 children who attended today's basketball competition at Alde Valley Academy. We took two teams, overall comprising of 10 boys and 10 girls from classes 5 and 6.
Each and every child played extremely well, individually and as part of a team. As a result, both teams won ALL of their matches and therefore, Kelsale were overall winners of the 'A Team Tournament' and 'B Team Tournament'!
Thank you to Mr Skeggs for your fabulous teaching, which the children absorbed and put into practise this afternoon. We are incredibly proud of these children for their commendable sportsmanship, behaviour and obviously, basketball skills!
