Year 5's- Art at Alde Valley High School

A big thank you to Alde Valley High School for hosting a beautifully creative art and music afternoon.

The children had a fabulous time, and came back to school proudly clutching their textile art project.

Class 4's sand gardens

Class 4 spent a very enjoyable afternoon creating sand gardens in preparation for the churches flower festival.  The designs were absolutely stunning and the children, quite-rightly, were very proud of their efforts.

Class 5 will be attempting to create their gardens on Friday

SFS Science Morning with Year 5

Year were fortunate enough to spend the morning at Saxmundham Free School in the science department.  We were able to investigate acids and alkalies in the Chemistry Lab, electrical circuits in the Physics lab and starch content of carbohydrates in the Biology lab.
The children had a brilliant time and were able to access equipment not available back at our school.  A huge thank you to all the teachers and Year 9 student's who made us feel so welcome and ensured we had a very enjoyable morning.
