A huge thank you to all the parents, friends and family who came to support the children on this lovely day. We made a huge amount of mess, used enormous amounts of tissue paper, dozens and dozens of eggs, but have the most create, fun day. The children produced some incredible designs on a range of topics, showing tremendous creativity and problem solving skills.
We were all rewarded by a phone call and then a visit from the Easter bunny to complete an awesome day.
In the process, you helped us to raise approx £130, with which the school council will purchase playground equipment to use and enjoy during the summer months. Thank you for your continued generosity.

Tag Rugby Tournament 2018
An amazing afternoon at Alde Valley High School with an amazing group of children. They played some amazing rugby, winning 3 of their 5 games. Both myself and Miss Smith were so proud of the effort they gave, and how lovely the team were to spend time with. A pleasure.
Mr Mansell was very busy taking some fabulous photos, which I hope you enjoy.

Classes 5 and 6- Yoga
A huge thank you to Keely and Izzy from TK Yoga and Holistics (https://www.tkyogaretreat.co.uk/) for all their hard work with classes 4, 5 and 6. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, and talk about the techniques learnt, regularly in class.
As you can see from the photos in the link, the children loved it!
We hope to enjoy more yoga in the future.

Snape Maltings- Celebration!
On Thursday night, the school choir, accompanied by their choir master, Mr Moss, Miss Coppens-Browne and Miss Dempsey, attended Snape Maltings- Celebration.
"Celebration is the result of a long-standing and productive partnership between Snape Maltings and Suffolk County Council, with all ages and stages of Suffolk maintained schools (primary, high, special schools and pupil referral units) being represented during an annual week-long take over of Snape Maltings Concert Hall."
After months of preparation, the choir took to the stage, to sing pieces composed by Mr Moss, and inspired by David Livingstone's journey of discovery.
They were amazing! We all felt so, so proud.
A huge well done to all the children and staff. Mrs Holman kindly sent me 2 photos from the evening, but as she said herself, they are not the best quality. If anyone has photos or film they could send me carolinemansell@kelsale.suffolk.sch.uk, I would be very grateful.

Mothering Sunday Church Service 2018
A big thank you to Rev. Andy and his helpers for the Mothering Sunday church service yesterday. The children read their tributes to their Mums beautifully, and thoroughly enjoyed the song at the end of the service.
A very special thank you to all Mums out there. I hope you are well looked after this weekend!
