Having won their way through to the play-offs in the Autumn Term, the school football team spent a chilly afternoon at St Edmund's school, Bungay, playing on the unfamiliar astroturf. Despite this, our fabulous team, taking 2nd place, made it through to the county finals in Bury St Edmunds this morning. Having made it this far, they were already ranked in the top 8 teams in the county.
Despite a series of challenging games, in freezing conditions (one look at Mrs Ward's face will confirm just how cold it was), the team worked incredibly hard.
The team and their coaches (Nick Denny and Miss Dempsey) need to know just how how proud the whole school community are of you and what an enormous achievement this is. Huge congratulations! xx
