Music Day 2103

Children in Year 4 plus our 'Play On' group, all of whom take guitar lessons at school with Mr Osborne  went to Alde Valley High School yesterday to take part in a Music Day. They were accompanied by Miss Coppens-Browne, Miss Pugh and Miss Dempsey.  The children had prepared pieces of music, both in lesson time and in their own time, to practice and play in front of an audience.

They spent the morning listening to other primary schools rehearsing and practicing their pieces.  A quick break for lunch...

...and the children were back to work.

The two groups of children finally performed their pieces.  The clip below shows the 'Play On' group performing their piece, which they chose, practiced and perfected themselves.

Once again, our children behaved impeccably.  They worked hard and performed beautifully.  A huge thank you to the adults and children for representing the school and making us very proud.
